'language' as a tool is remarkably versatile, and its ability to be spontaneously changed for new situations, yet still widely understood, is a testament to the human condition. humans seek to assign rules for grammars, and teach them as such, but they are more accurately described as patterns that map content words to more precise ideas. mathematics is the world's idea junkyard, where every day people come to play with the available scraps to try to build something. some build tools, some build for the joy of building, and some follow ikea-esque instructions like a factory worker. those who complain are typically the latter. i can also text u bs yap. actually im a better listener than a yapper |
